In spring 2025 TF Jones were appointed to maintain and repair the fire alarm and emergency light systems for Warrington Housing Association across their properties in Warrington and Cheshire.
This project includes regular inspections of current systems and upgrading where necessary to the British Standard 5839:1-2025

Project Approach
- As typical at TF Jones, contract mobilisation started with in-depth discussions in regards to historical inspections, as well as working through asset information.
- Following these discussions, our Fire and Security Engineers got underway with the inspections, completing precise job reports and updating asset information at each visit.
Successful Outcomes
- Minimised disruption – the majority of maintenance visits do not require access to individual flats, therefore our work is of minimal disruption to residents. As this work focuses on communal areas, with limited access issues, we are able to assure clients of achievable timescales to deliver the works in their entirety.
- Effective stakeholder collaboration – our in-depth contract mobilisation meetings ensure TF Jones are aligned to client expectations and requirements.
