Margaret Roper House – Nugent
Fire Doors
Southport, Merseyside
Margaret Roper House is a recent project we have undertaken for Nugent, a registered charity dedicated to caring for, educating, and protecting vulnerable children, young people, and adults.
The project involved a variety of replacement and upgrade works to fire doors, including flat entrance doors and single and double communal doors.
“Residents can see the level of workmanship in the doors and are really look forward to their own properties being upgraded.”

Project Approach
Surveys
Our FIRAS accredited Supervisor conducted comprehensive surveys to ensure consistent and thorough data collection for each door set. This information was then reviewed, and an action plan was developed in collaboration with the client.
Preparation
Lead times for bespoke door sets were utilised to finalise health and safety plans, prepare the work programme, and coordinate with scheme staff on storage logistics.
Execution
Upon installation, photographic evidence of the completed works was uploaded to our system, and a FIRAS Certificate of Conformity produced. Quality inspections were conducted by our Supervisors and Managers, with all evidence shared with the client immediately post completion.
Successful Outcomes
Open communication with scheme staff was instrumental in minimising no-access visits, ensuring the project's smooth completion.
